The Easter vigil ceremony started at 7.30pm through the blessing of the fire and  Pascal Candle. People had flocked to the school hall in large number because it was their first Easter Vigil celebration in the Kifaru parish. There were five readings, four from Old Testament and one from New Testament. Fr Hilary Lobo the Parish priest, presided over the celebration and Fr Ronald Pinto, the Headmaster of the school preached on that auspicious day.
