COVID 19 Awareness Program

Place: St. Joseph Boy’s Science Secondary School Tanzania

On Sunday 19th of April 2020, The SMSM mission & Same diocese jointly organized a awareness program on COVID19 for the people of Kifaru parish. After the Sunday mass at Kalimani substation Ms. Irene from same district took the theory & practical session. People were asked to move with their chairs and sit 1 meter distance from each other. She spoke about COVID19, how it started and how it’s spreading. She gave the tips how to safeguard ourselves from this virus and what are the precautionary measures we need to take. She also gave the inputs on how to build and sustain the immunity of our body, what kind of food to eat and the importance of social distancing. Kalimani parish in charge priest Rev. Fr. George Crasta was present for the program.
