On 1st of March 2020 the three organic training center heads came together for the discussion under the leadership of TOAM. This meeting was organized to collaborate all 3 organic agriculture training institutions in Tanzania to discuss about current activities, how these three can collaborate together in future course of action and to develop a training syllabus for organic agriculture.

Mr. Austin Makani, renowned journalist from Dar es Salaam coordinated the meeting. Mr. Akitanda from TOAM, Ms. Janet Maro from SAT Morogoro, Ma. Mwatima, from Practical Perma-Culture Institution Zanzibar [PPIZ]. Rev. Fr. Alwyn M. J. D’Souza, Mr. Prashanth & Mr. Martin from SJS organic- center for excellence Mwanga participated in the meeting.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Austin gave introductory note about the purpose of meeting. Mr. Akitanda from TOAM gave the details about EOAs ‘Knowledge Hub’ project. Followed by, Ms. Janet Maro, Ma. Mwatima & Rev. Alwyn gave the details of the kind of work and training provided at their respective institutions.  Through the process of discussion all 3 institutions came for an understanding to work together for the development of organic agriculture in Tanzania and agreed to collectively put efforts to establish teaching/ training syllabus. Mr. Austin thanked one and all for being present for the meeting.
