Place: St. Joseph Boy’s Science Secondary School, Kituri  

On 12th of May 2019 Sunday after the Holy Eucharist; Mr. Martin Mhando, Organic farming trainer and instructor in Farming Gods’ Way, took the session for the students of St. Joseph Boy’s Science Secondary School, Kituri. After the morning mass Rev. Fr. Alwyn M. J. D’Souza introduced Mr. Martin to the students. Mr. Martin spoke on basic practices of farming and benefits of organic farming. He encouraged students to develop their interest in the field of agriculture. He gave some tips on how to reduce salt (magadi) in the soil also taught them how to take care of plants and nature. He invited them to start agriculture and environment club in the school and conduct regular activities. He promised his full support to them in their activities. Student head boy Mr. Silvano thanked Mr. Martin for his session.
