Place: Immaculate Conception of Mary Parish Kifaru
In the Kifaru Parish 13 children received  the first communion on 17th November.  The Eucharist began at 10.00 a.m. with a solemn entrance procession with singing and dancing. Fr. Hilary Lobo the Parish Priest presided over the Eucharist and Fr Victor Machado the Head Master of the school gave a meaning full Homily. Fr. Alwyn D’ Souza the Mission Superior, gave the communion to the Children. Mrs. Lagua the Catechist had prepared the children for the first communion. Sisters had prepared a meaningful liturgy and also decorated the altar and the parish council members had decorated the church and the surroundings.  The choir enhanced the liturgy by their melodious singing.

Also on 3rd November at Jipe 14, on 11th November at Kivisin 3, on 4th November at Kileo 12 and on 26th November at Kalimani 19 children received Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament for the first time. Total 61 childre took the sacrament of Holy Communion in 2018. A well planned meaningful liturgy was celebrated.  The Parish priest Rev. Fr. Hilary Lobo was the main celebrant and Rev. Fr. Victor Machado gave a meaningful homily.  After the Eucharist there was a get together of all the people.  They felicitated the children and all eat together. After the meal there was a cultural dance and singing by the people.
