The Deanery Priests meeting and discussion on Youth Ministry was held at Kisivani Parish on 31st May 2018.  Eleven Priests from Nine Parishes of Shengena Deanery were present for the meeting. In this gathering Fr. Samuel introduced Fr. Alwyn & Mr. Prashanth. Fr. Alwyn gave the brief introduction about Youth Ministry & present situation at Same Diocesan Youth Ministry.  He presented the action plan for the Year 2018-19.

Fr. Alwyn while addressing the Priests and Lay Leaders of the Deanery, why we need to put greater focus on the Youth Ministry in the Diocese of Same in order to rejuvenate the Young People of the Diocese of Same and to give them opportunities to develop their leadership qualities and personalities hence, the opportunities to develop themselves and Church needs to give them Hope.   This will help them to become consistent contributing person to the Church and the Society.   The Church should keep the young people active and dynamic in order to keep the Church vibrant and relevant to the 21st Century youth.
