RUPERT Children’s Home is the new venture of the Same Mangalore Africa Mission.  It is a home for the very poor, orphan, and children of the problematic families, who are good in studies but do not have proper atmosphere in their place for study.  Children of 5, 6 and 7th Standard will be brought here and they will go to the local Government School and they will be given good coaching in RUPERT HOME.

The name RUPERT is given as per the request of the donor.  The donors are helping in the name of Rupert their adopted son who died of accident many years back.  The word RUPERT means SHINE and we aim at enshrining the children. Further we have elaborated the objectives from the very name RUPERT.  R – means Rural; U – means Uplift; P – means Program of; E - means Education; R – means Reinforcement;  T – means Transformation.
