For Catholics, the Holy Eucharist / Catholic Mass is considered the most important and highest form of prayer. The beauty of the Holy Eucharist is in the way one participates. In order to participate actively, one must know the signs and rubrics of the Mass. Therefore, half day seminar was held in Kifaru Church for the people of Kifaru parish on Saturday 24 September 2016.

 

 

 

 

 

Day began with the prayer service led by Mrs. Leonardo Laghua followed by Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Hilary Lobo welcomed everyone. Mission superior Rev. Fr. Alwyn M. J. D’Souza welcomed day’s main resource person Rev. Fr. Sebastian MSFS with the garland. The main aspects of the seminar were

1. Holy Eucharist as a sacrament.

2. Parts of the Eucharist.

3. How to prepare the Eucharist.

 

 

 

 

 

After each session there was an interaction between the resource person & participants, many were enlightened & satisfied with the answers they received and as they cleared all their doubts about the liturgy/ Holy Eucharist.

60 parishioners were present for the seminar and the seminar was concluded with the meal at 3 pm. Along with parish Women Group, Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Jason Lobo looked after all the arrangements.
