Place: St. Joseph Boy’s Science Secondary School Kituri.

On 19th of March 2020 St. Joseph Boys Science Secondary School boys celebrated their school patron St. Joseph Feast. Day began with the Holy Eucharist; Rev. Fr. Simon Dekero of Cathedral parish of same diocese was the main celebrant. School Manager Rev. Fr. Alwyn M. J. D’Souza, headmaster Rev. Fr. Victor Machado, Parish priest Rev. Fr. Hilary Lobo, Hostel director Fr. George Crasta & spiritual director Fr. Joseph Rodrigues were the concelebrants. Day’s liturgy and Melodious coir was led by school students. During the homily Fr. Simon, spoke about St. Joseph life, his obedience & commitment to the God’s salvation plan. He stressed to take St. Joseph as role model for our life. After the Holy Eucharist, during the formal function Fr. Victor Machado greeted the students and explained them the significance of the feast. Fr. Alwyn addressed the boys and wished them all well. Due to COVID 19 there was no cultural program or grand celebration. It was last day before students left to home for the emergency lockdown holiday due to COVID 19. Delicious meal was prepared for all.
