Bible Sunday was celebrated on 3rd November in every Substation.  Creative liturgy was planned for the same.  On 27th October, good awareness was given as a preparation for the Bible Sunday.  The Catechists were instructed well to prepare the people, so they prepared the people well.  Everyone who had Bible was told to bring their Bible when they come.  Many brought the Bible.  Good introduction was given, after that all went outside and they came in procession with the Bible, and the Bible was enthroned at the main Altar. Afterwards, all the people venerated the Bible.  During the homily, the priest explained about the importance of the Bible, the word of God, how to make the word of God alive in life by reading, reflecting and practicing it in the daily life. Homily was given in a dialogue form.  People grow in more awareness.

5 families asked for the Bible and they bought the bible after the Bible Sunday was celebrated.  The Bibles were provided to the RUPERT HOME children and Class VII children who were having coaching in RUPERT HOME.  Every day the children started to read one each chapter from the Bible. This is continued in RUPERT HOME, and class VII children who are now in Form I in various Government schools, were given motivation to read the Bible every day.  Some of them as we just enquired are still continuing to read the Bible every day.

The program has enhanced Bible knowledge in the people. Young children are cultivating the habit of reading and reflecting the word of God.  Bible knowledge is moving the heart of the people in a steady manner.
