Blessing of the Foundation Stone for 2nd building of RUPERT Home

On Thursday 05th of September 2019 the visitors from Italy Ms. Marilena & Ms. Akhila laid over the foundation stone for the 2nd hostel building of RUPERT children home. Mission Superior Rev. Fr. Alwyn m. J. D’Souza celebrated the holy Eucharist, RUPERT director Rev. Fr. Joseph Rodrigues was the concelebrant. Ursuline Sisters from Marian Convent, RUPERT home children and parish pastoral council members were present. During the mass the foundation stones were blessed by Fr. Joseph.

After the mass all visited the building sight, RUPERT children carried the blessed bricks to the construction site. Fr. Alwyn conducted the prayer session and blessed the construction area. Fr. Joseph thanked donors for the gift of new home. Program ended with the group photo session.
