Kifaru, Jan. 12: A new venture of the Mission, RUPERT CHILDREN’S HOME, a project to educate the poor and downtrodden children inaugurated and blessed on Jan. 11, 2019 at Kifaru Parish Campus.

This is another historical day for the Mangalore Same Mission.  The newly build home though the work is in progress was blessed by enthroning a cross in the house. Fr. Hilary Lobo the Parish Priest blessed the cross and the house.
 
19 children joined the children’s home. The children were welcomed by giving a sapling and the children planted them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Fr. Alwyn D’ Souza the Africa Mission Superior, Mr. Nitu Singh a well wisher, Mr. Sadi Seushi, the Chairman of the Kigigi, the Local Government body, Mr. Samuel Mzava, Head Master of Kifaru Primary School, and Mrs. Happiness, Head Teacher of Magengo Primary School, Ward member Zulia Musa, were present for the Programme.  

Fr. Alwyn D’Souza, spoke about the objectives of RUPERT programme and wished well to all the children.
